A council in Greater Manchester is considering asking all new taxi drivers to take an English test before giving them a license. What do you think about this? Is this a sensible way to make sure they can do their job or do you think its a way of having a go at the number of Asians doing the job? Have you got into a cab and been frustrated because the driver didn't understand your directions? Do you think by taking an English test, they will be able to serve the customers well?
