That got members of our team discussing Asian culture and practices post-pregnancy, and according to Hindu tradition and in some Sikh communities women are expected to stay completely indoors for 6 weeks after giving birth. If you're a mother, I'd love to hear from you, is that something you had to do? Or perhaps, you feel that it's an outdated practise, one which simply doesn't fit with modern day life style?
