Sons of Kemet is a meeting of 大象传媒 Radio 3 New Generation Jazz Artist Shabaka Hutchings with Seb Rochford (Polar Bear) and Tom Skinner (zero 7, zed-u) on drums plus Oren Marshall on modified tuba. With a distinctive street music feel, the group bears influence from the dynamic vibe of New Orleans via West African drum music and fine double drum rhythms and joining them for part of this concert will be guest guitarist David Okumu.
