EU cancels Greek finance meeting, millions of families cut back on food because of rising prices, Iran plans a major nuclear announcement, and an igloo is built in Algiers.

Rhod Sharp with stories from around the world.

EU ministers have cancelled a meeting to discuss Greece's finances because they say the country hasn't shown it's committed to the austerity plans. Uri Dadush, an economist with the Carnegie Endowment think tank in Washington, says Greece isn't working - he thinks it's a disaster. But he doesn't think that the cancellation of the meeting marks the end of the story for the Greek economy.

Save the Children says a year of record food prices has forced millions of parents in the developing world to cut back on food for their children. Kathryn Rawe from the charity says these are families who are already on the edge. She's calling for a food summit during the London Olympics, when ministers from around the world will be able to hold discussions easily.

Reports from Iran suggest President Ahmedinejad will make a major announcement about the country's nuclear programme on Wednesday. Michael Adler from the Woodrow Wilson Centre in Washington is writing a book about Iran's nuclear diplomacy. He says that although the enrichment isn't up to weapons grade just yet, the tension in this crisis is increasing on all fronts.

From nuclear ambition to prize winning dogs - we cover the final few tense moments at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in New York. Reporter James Gordon meets some of the owners and their pets, who have to be presented in a "stacked fashion". You can find out what that means, along with the result of the Best in Show.

And it's been snowing in the UK recently - but who'd have thought it would get as far south as Algiers? Our correspondent, Chloe Arnold, is there, tells us what local kids think about the white stuff and discusses the igloo they built in her back garden.
