Passing on your religion to your children.
Do Asian parents teach their kids more about ritual than religion? Plus motoring guru Mike Rutherford joins Nihal. He's your man for any motoring-related questions.
At 1 Nihal asks 'Do Asian Parents teach their kids more about ritual than religion?'
An academic survey published earlier this week showed that Muslims are much more likely to actively practise the faith they were brought up in than Hindus or SIkhs. Why do you think that is?
When you were growing up, were you taught in-depth about how your religion works or do you think you were just taught prayers, services, pujas or the Holy book blindly without understanding? Are families too keen to get kids to sign up to their chosen religion without even making sure they know the mechanics before they understand the substance? Are Muslims better connected to their religion than Sikhs and Hindus? Ans are parents letting their children down by not being active enough? Call Nihal and tell him what you think.
At 2, The Guru.
Motoring maestro, Mike Rutherford will be on hand to answer all your motoring enquiries. He'll be able to tell you anything, from the most economical car to buying or selling a second hand motor. Just get your questions in quickly.
