In the feature Headline News [Number One Albums On Noteworthy Days] we hear Moon River by Henry Mancini from the film soundtrack LP of Breakfast At Tiffanys. It was number one on 20 February 1962 - the day on which John Glenn became the first American to orbit the earth.

We also hear Down Under by Men At Work from Business As Usual. The LP was number one in the US on 30 November 1982 - the day on which Thriller by Michael Jackson was released.

In the regular feature The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, songs are featured from albums by Donny Hathaway and Annie Lennox. It's Not The Same Old Song highlights You're The One by The Vogues and a different song with the same title by SWV.

In A Matter Of Life And Death Paul celebrates the birth on this date in 1941 of Irma Thomas. We also hear T.S.O.P by M.F.S.B. It was used as the theme tune for the American TV show Soul Train and is played as a tribute to the creator of the show Don Cornelius, who recently died. Who Do You Love? by Bo Diddley and Whole Lot Of Shakin' Going On by Jerry Lee Lewis are this week's featured records from the Grammy Hall Of Fame Singles list.

Our R&B Number Ones are from 1966 - Uptight (Everything's Alright) by Stevie Wonder, and this week - Love After War by Robin Thicke. We hear Country Number Ones from 1962 and now by Leroy Van Dyke and Toby Keith. This week's past and present Rock Number Ones are by Bryan Adams and The Black Keys.

The multi-Grammy winner Adele remains at the top of the US album chart for a nineteenth non-consecutive week with 21. And, on the singles side, Stronger by Kelly Clarkson is the best selling song for a second week.
