Standing up to racism.

Should you get involved if you hear someone making racist comments in public? Plus a guest panel join Nihal in the studio for Letting Off Steam.

At 1, Should you always get involved if you hear someone making racist comments in public?

The Labour MP John Woodcock is being praised today after he stood up to some racists while travelling on a train

Mr Woodcock was going back to his constituency in Cumbria late at night last week when some men start making loud racist comments. He intervened and while the men quietened down but before leaving the train they roughed him up. But what would you have done in the same situation, we've all been in places where someone is shooting their mouth off. What would you do? Would you say something or keep quiet? Is it our responsibility to intervene if we witness a racist incident? Or is it just too dangerous to get involved?

Call Nihal and tell him the last time you heard or witnessed a racial incident.

At 2, Letting off Steam.

A guest panel made up with comedian Saddiqa Akhtar, arts and crafts expert Momtaz Begum Hossain and friend of the show Jote Bassi will be helping Nihal Letting off Steam.
