Lockerbie - The Lost Evidence

Documentary delving into the Lockerbie disaster, featuring the first English interview with al-Megrahi, who claims the full truth about the events has never been revealed.

In 1988 a terrorist bomb destroyed the jumbo jet Pan Am 103 over the Scottish town of Lockerbie killing 270 innocent people. A Libyan citizen, Abdel Baset Mohamed Ali al-Megrahi, was eventually found guilty of the largest case of mass murder in the history of the British Isles. In 2009, diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer, he was released on compassionate ground and allowed to go home to die in Libya.

The events of that terrible terrorist attack over Lockerbie have always been surrounded in controversy. 大象传媒 Scotland Investigates will feature the first and only English interview with the dying Al-Megrahi who claims the full truth about Lockerbie has never been revealed. The investigation will uncover new evidence that has never been heard before and cast fresh doubts not only on Al-Megrahi's conviction but on whether Libya was involved at all.
