Car Credit Hire Fraud

As motor insurers focus on spotting bogus whiplash claims, criminal gangs have found a new way of cashing in on the industry - and it's costing 60 million pounds a year.

As the motor insurance industry roots out bogus whiplash claims, fraudsters have moved in on credit hire - the system that allows motorists involved in a road smash to get a replacement hire car.
