Testing medicines on animals.

Do you support animal testing for medical reasons? Plus Nihal chats to guests involved with domestic violence charity Nour.

At , Nihal kicks off the afternoon by asking 'Do you support animal testing for medical reasons?'

Former science minister has attacked "weak companies" who refused to bring animals into the UK to be used for medical research. The last ferry company to carry live animals for research has said they are stopping the practise. Lord Drayton says that "people will suffer and die" because of the attempts to ban the trade. But do you agree?

Do you have a member of your family who suffers from a genetic disease? Would you be able to look them in the eye and say you don't support research into their illness because you care more about the life of a mouse than you do about a cure for their disease? Do you support the use of animals for medical reasons? Is the principle of not harming living things an absolute for you? Do you believe no matter what the benefits to humans, anything that kills another animal, even a mouse is wrong, even for medical purposes?

Call Nihal and tell him what you think.

After 2, Nihal chats to husband and wife Khalida and Shahnawaz Haque who are both involved in a charity called Nour Domestic Violence. It helps and advises Muslim victims who are affected by this issue. If you are a victim of domestic violence, have you ever sought help?
Call, text and email Nihal with your stories.
