American soldier opens fire on Afghan civilians.

Nihal asks whether the Western presence in Afghanistan is doing more harm than good. Plus he's joined by a guest panel for Letting off Steam.

At 1, Nihal asks 'Is Western presence in Afghanistan doing more harm than good?'

An American Soldier went on a rampage killing 16 people near Kandahar, 9 children were amongst the dead. This comes just a few days after 6 British Soldiers were killed after being blown up by a roadside bomb planted by the Taliban. The US government were quick to apologise.

But is the damage irrepairable? Do incidents like this overshadow the positive changes the coalition forces have made? Will war ever rid Afghanistan of the Taliban ideology? Is the West being in the country making Afghanistan and Britain safer? Or is it just giving the extremists something to focus on and attack? Call Nihal and tell him how you feel abouth these tragic events.

At 2, Letting off Steam with a guest panel in the studio.

A chef, a journalist and a model are on hand to help you let off steam. Call in and tell Nihal what has irritated you over the weekend.
