Sportscene: Heart of Midlothian v St Mirren

Live coverage of the first of the weekend's quarter-finals, as Heart of Midlothian meet St Mirren in the William Hill Scottish Cup sixth round. Rob Mclean presents.

William Hill Scottish Cup, 6th Round

Heart of Midlothian v St Mirren (kick-off 12.30pm)

Live from Tynecastle Stadium.

The first of the weekend's quarter-finals is an all-SPL clash in the capital. Supporters of the Paisley Buddies will be hoping for a
win today with dreams of ending a 25-year wait since they last lifted the Scottish Cup - that was in 1987 thanks to a famous win 1-0 over Dundee Utd. In that time, Hearts have lifted the trophy twice - in 1998, with a 2-1 win over Rangers, and in
2006 when they defeated Gretna in a penalty shoot-out.

St Mirren will be aiming to avenge their last visit to Gorgie, when they lost 5-2 in the SPL in January, a match which included a
hat-trick by Rudi Skacel. However, they can take encouragement from the clubs' last meeting in a knock-out tournament when a Billy Mehmet goal gave them a 1-0 League Cup semi-final victory over Hearts two years ago.
