The programme opens with an archive recording of the late Calum Nicolson singing a tribute to a Macdonald Chief returning to Duntulm Castle. Jonathan MacDonald describes specific locations at Duntulm Castle and tells how justice was administered by the Macdonald Chiefs. He tells how a kinsman of a Macdonald Chief built his own Castle (Caisteal 脵isdean) and how he plotted to murder the Chief. Discovering what was being planned the Chief pursued and imprisoned his kinsman 脵isdean in the Duntulm Castle dungeon where he eventually died of thirst.
Allan is also joined by Flodigarry crofter Archie Nicolson who guides him through Duntulm towards Kilmaluag.
