German comedian Henning Wehn presents a series of comedy lectures revealing his distinctive take on life in Britain, with guest Andy Hamilton.

German comedian Henning Wehn (the German Comedy Ambassador to the United Kingdom) has now spent over ten years living in the UK and feels he's now in a good position to share to Radio 2 listeners his views on Britain and its unique foibles.

Over six weeks, Henning will look at various aspects of British life from his unique Germanic perspective. Each week he's joined by his musical companion, Otto Kuhnle, the Fatherland1s foremost Yodelmeister, who will sing a song.

Henning has decided to take a look at Languages, Sport, Class, Politics, Shopping and in this fourth episode, he looks at British Humour and shares his views on jokes, stand- up comedy and humour in the work-place.

With a tongue sharper than a rapier sword, Henning each week, with searing German honesty, will give his highly personal perspective on what it1s like being British. No-one is spared his honest and sometimes near the knuckle views.

Each week he's joined by a special guest including language expert Henry Hitchings, ex England football manager Graham Taylor, Peter York, ex football mascot and now Mayor of Hartlepool Stuart Drummond, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen and tonight writer and performer Andy Hamilton.

Over six weeks, Henning will use his German Comedy Ambassador position to share his hilarious thoughts on life in the United Kingdom - prepare to be amazed, surprised and entertained!
