Add a kicking playlist, stir in a rib-tickling satirical romp through the day's news, and coat with a large helping of Lee Mack. That's your Wednesday breakfast smashed.

Wednesday sees Shaun joined by Lee Mack for a chat about the return of his multi award-winning primetime sitcom Not Going Out.

Following a successful run of the fourth series last year, viewers will once again follow the jokes, jibes and general misunderstandings of Lee and his friends with six brand new episodes written by and starring the BAFTA-winning stand-up.

The previous series finished with a near death experience for happy-go-lucky Lee, dreaming of the perfect life with his flat mate Lucy. In this brand new series, we follow Lee as he gets himself into all sorts of scrapes and sticky situations in his eagerness to please and impress the object of his affections.

He turns rocker when he joins his best mate Tim's band, cheered on by Tim's ditzy girlfriend Daisy; takes on the role of carer for his scrounging father; injures himself training for a Fun Run; and proves his manliness by camping in a dark spooky forest. But will a drunken experiment with Lucy show once and for all that love really is in the air or will it just lead to more mayhem and mishaps.

All this plus Shaun's usual kicking playlist of The Kills to Kraftwerk; The Beatles to The Band, The Hold Steady to The Happy Mondays. Plus a cynical romp through the day's news; enough to keep you entertained until lunch.
