Middle Age Shout Outs & Andrew WK

Friday sees another poem from Murray Lachlan Young, more of your Middle Age Shout Outs (#MASOS) and Andrew WK in the studio talking about the tenth anniversary of his debut album.

Very exciting programme to end the week this week as we welcome to the show a man whose rule of life we follow to the letter - ANDREW WK.

This year sees the 10th anniversary of his debut album 'I Get Wet' and he'll be chatting with Shaun about the celelbration and how his life and career has changed in those 10 years. He is now a celebrated producer, nominted for a Grammy for his work with Lee Scratch Perry - Andrew's recent accomplishments also include hosting the successful Cartoon Network TV program, "Destroy Build Destroy" - with over 1.7 million viewers a week, the program quickly became the #1 show in its time slot for boys 6-11 on ALL of television, and it earned Andrew the "Best Host" award from KidScreen, an youth TV industry publication. Andrew was invited to write and perform an official theme song to the 2012 World Snowboarding Championship in Oslo, Norway, and serve as the event's musical diplomat.
