Nihal asks 'Are religious TV channels a bad influence on British Asians?'

A digital TV channel faces the possibility of being closed down by the broadcasting regulator OfCom after it broadcast a lecture by a Muslim scholar that said it was ok to kill someone who showed disrespect for the Prophet.
What do you think about this? There's loads of religious TV channels for Sikhs, Muslims, Hindus and other denomionations. But is it time that these channels were banned? Do they breed hatred and segregate communities? Or are they important for debate and discussion about the controversial subjects our religions throw at us? Call Nihal and tell him what purpose YOU think religious channels serve for British Asians.

Later in the show Nihal will have this week's Guru in the studio with him - GP Dr Pritpal Ruprai. Do you have a medical issue which needs answering? Get in touch with your questions.
