Chinese activist Chen Guang Cheng says he and his family want to get out of China, Edvard Munch's The Scream sells for a record breaking 拢73.9m and the man who stole a penguin.

Rhod Sharp with news from around the world. Chinese dissident Chen Guang Cheng appeals to President Barack Obama to help him escape China with his family, telling journalists he fears for his life just hours after leaving the U.S. Embassy under a deal that Washington had hoped would defuse the crisis with Beijing. UAN gets the latest from US congressman Chris Smith in the US and Professor David Kelly, research director for a group called China Policy in Beijing.

The programme is live to the Sotheby's auction house in New York where Edvard Munch's painting The Scream has just sold for a record breaking 拢73.9m. Ray Waterhouse from Fine Art Brokers is in the front row and he tells us how two rival phone bidders drove the price up in a tense but excited auction room.

And one of the men from Wales who stole a penguin from Sea World on Queensland's Gold Coast tells Rhod Sharp how he found it in his walk-in wardrobe the morning after the night before.
