Janine frets that Gormley Manor still hasn鈥檛 been paid. Michael tries to tempt Jean to reconsider with a business lunch and official business plans for the scheme with no success. Alfie confides to Jean the money he gave her was dirty, joking he was desperate. Michael diverts Janine鈥檚 questions and tries to take out a loan. Jean changes her mind - for Kat and Alfie - and hands over Alfie鈥檚 money, beseeching a gleeful Michael to work his magic.
Ian books the cruise but is horrified to realise extras aren鈥檛 included in the price. Lucy covers Mandy鈥檚 caf茅 shift when Mandy confides that Lorraine鈥檚 sick. At the hospital, Lorraine鈥檚 in terrible pain with pancreatitis but insists she doesn鈥檛 want Mandy. Mandy comforts Lorraine but tells her she won鈥檛 be back鈥� she needs to make her relationship work. Lorraine spits that Mandy鈥檚 unlovable. At the caf茅, Lucy鈥檚 concerned Mandy鈥檚 been crying. They鈥檙e perplexed when an anxious Ian overreacts at their low day鈥檚 takings.
Carol agrees Derek can move in when he offers to pay off their debts and brings Tiffany鈥檚 kitten home. Janine tests her wedding menu on the family. The kitten eats caviar and vomits. Whitney鈥檚 queasy and faints. She stares at pregnant Janine, realisation dawning. Carol gets a phone call 鈥� Bianca鈥檚 been transferred to Suffolk.
Lauren鈥檚 fed up of being the boys鈥� skivvy at the Moons鈥� and goes on strike. Max and Tanya try to convince Lauren to come home. Lauren insists she鈥檚 fine. She鈥檚 excitedly prepping for a job interview when Tyler and Fat Boy bound in and spray her with beer, soaking her new top. Max and Tanya find a sopping, fuming Lauren on their doorstep 鈥� she鈥檚 home.
Lola plans a birthday tea for Billy with Janet and William. Alfie gives Billy cash to fund the party.
