Janine frets that Gormley Manor still hasn’t been paid. Michael tries to tempt Jean to reconsider with a business lunch and official business plans for the scheme with no success. Alfie confides to Jean the money he gave her was dirty, joking he was desperate. Michael diverts Janine’s questions and tries to take out a loan. Jean changes her mind - for Kat and Alfie - and hands over Alfie’s money, beseeching a gleeful Michael to work his magic.
Ian books the cruise but is horrified to realise extras aren’t included in the price. Lucy covers Mandy’s café shift when Mandy confides that Lorraine’s sick. At the hospital, Lorraine’s in terrible pain with pancreatitis but insists she doesn’t want Mandy. Mandy comforts Lorraine but tells her she won’t be back– she needs to make her relationship work. Lorraine spits that Mandy’s unlovable. At the café, Lucy’s concerned Mandy’s been crying. They’re perplexed when an anxious Ian overreacts at their low day’s takings.
Carol agrees Derek can move in when he offers to pay off their debts and brings Tiffany’s kitten home. Janine tests her wedding menu on the family. The kitten eats caviar and vomits. Whitney’s queasy and faints. She stares at pregnant Janine, realisation dawning. Carol gets a phone call – Bianca’s been transferred to Suffolk.
Lauren’s fed up of being the boys’ skivvy at the Moons’ and goes on strike. Max and Tanya try to convince Lauren to come home. Lauren insists she’s fine. She’s excitedly prepping for a job interview when Tyler and Fat Boy bound in and spray her with beer, soaking her new top. Max and Tanya find a sopping, fuming Lauren on their doorstep – she’s home.
