Radio 2 is justly proud of its coverage of specialist music, which really covers the genre waterfront! Joining Vanessa to explore this rich musical heritage are two of the station's finest: David Rodigan and Suzi Quatro.
Suzi, of course, is a rock'n'roll lifer who brings a half century of experience to her rock'n'roll programmes, while David is the UK's foremost reggae expert.
They'll be talking rockabilly and reggae with Vanessa, a keen reggae fan herself, and there will also be live music from new American sensation JD McPherson
And, who knows, that Michael Ball may pop up on the piano too.
