For this special 2Day show, Sir Terry celebrates the banter and bonhomie that have made him so well-loved on Radio 2, with special guests and some of his very favourite music.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Sir Terry's first appearance on Radio 2's breakfast show. Weekend Wogan now broadcasts at brunchtime on Sundays,showcasing great musical performances, songwriting; and some of the biggest names from the worlds of theatre, film and TV.

In today's 2Day special, Terry chats to Jools Holland, who has recorded one of Terry's favourite songs on piano. A Radio 2 regular, Jools shares eclectic tracks from his own record collection on Monday nights, in a show that showcases his musical talent and wit.

Terry will also be joined by Radio 2's weekend earlybird, Richard Allinson. A stalwart of broadcasting, Richard joined Radio 2 in 1997 and since then has been a regular on the airwaves in both his early morning shows and during the daytime.

Following Richard on a Saturday morning is Radio 2's newest addition, Anneka Rice. Having started her career at the 大象传媒 World Service, her new show on Radio 2 is an energetic start to the weekend in keeping with her past appearances on Treasure Hunt and Challenge Anneka.

Terry will impart some of his tricks of the trade to Anneka, and show why he's been a mainstay of the network for longer than he'd care to remember! They'll also discuss what they love about Radio 2 and celebrate some of its favourite artists.

Diane Louise Jordan of Sunday Half Hour will also join Terry for a special 2Day Pause For Thought.
