US officials say they've foiled an "underwear bomb" plot designed by Al-Qaeda in Yemen to blow up a plane bound for America. The plans were similar to those seen on a plane in Detroit on Christmas Day 2009. Quinn Kleinfelter from Detroit public radio tells us how the news is being received there, we hear from our correspondent in Washington, and former CIA officer Robert Baer says that while there are fewer terrorists trying to attack the USA, the people who make these bombs aren't going to stop.
The election results in Greece and France have caused further anxiety for countries in the Eurozone. Ken Rogoff, a former chief economist at the International Monetary Fund, tells us he's as gloomy as the former chancellor, Norman Lamont, about the Euro's future. He also thinks that France's new President, Francois Hollande, won't be able to renegotiate the EU treaty which controls countries' spending powers.

There's been a gruesome discovery in South Korea. Thousands of pills containing powerered human flesh have been seized by customs, who are planning more stringent checks to try to stem the flow. The capsules are coming from China. Bae Ji Sook, a health reporter from the Korea Herald, says the pills are supposed to boost male stamina, and authorities believe the capsules are immoral and unethical.

Prince Harry has won a humanitarian award for his work with British forces' charities. He's been recognised by the Atlantic Council in Washington DC. Fred Kempe, the council's president, says the Prince has a natural ability to connect with audiences who don't know him very well.
