Dil Neiyyer sits in for Nihal and he asks 'Do Asians struggle to make friends with people from other cultures?'
Women from abroad are sending their children to courses in England costing up to a hundred thousand pounds to help them to learn how to integrate in British society. They are taught how to make small talk, about British culture and things such as Rugby and the weather
Do you think some British Asians could do with some help when it comes to making friends from people outside of their culture?
One of the team went on a hen night over the weekend where all the different cultural groups stuck with their own kind. Is that a microcosm of how British Asian society works? Gujaratis stick with Gujis, Punjabis with Punjabis, Mirpuris with Mirpuris with everyone ignoring the white guy in the corner? Or should non-Asians make more of an effort with Asians?
Then, Felicity Kendal will be in the studio discussing Indian Shakespeare Quest which will be broadcast tomorrow night on 大象传媒 Two at 9 pm.
Later on, Should people be fined for texting whilst walking on the street?
The police chief in Fort Lee, New Jersey has told his officers to impose fines on people caught texting whilst walking. The number of road accidents and fatalities have gone up and they are blaming people who focus on their mobile phones more than their safety and surroundings. So come one 'fess up, are you guilty of texting whilst on the move?
