* Police have arrested a second person on suspicion of murder after five children died in a house fire in Derby. A 38-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman are now in custody. The children who died were aged between five and ten, their thirteen year old brother suffered serious burns.

* The Culture Secretary, Jeremy Hunt is resisting renewed calls from Labour for his resignation. It's over an email which appears to show he asked for private advice from News Corporation on the phone hacking scandal. The message emerged at the Leveson Inquiry yesterday.

* The latest attempt to form a government in Greece has failed. It means there could be another election with the political crisis putting renewed pressure on the Eurozone economies.
