The 6 Mix looks at two artists who tip their hats to the synth sounds of the 1980's: London's Kindness and Anthony Gonzalez from M83.
The first hour of selections comes from Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, who released his long awaited debut album earlier this year. After receiving rave reviews for the release and also being touted as one of the hotly anticipated acts from March's SXSW Festival, we thought it only right to give Kindness some time behind the 6 Mix decks to play a collection of tracks that inspired the album.
Following from Kindness, the second hour is curated by Anthony Gonzalez, aka M83. The French artist released his 6th studio album late last year with singles Reunion and Midnight City quickly becoming 6 Music favourites. June and July sees M83 take to stages across the UK for some live shows but before that, here is a chance to listen to a selection of artists that have influenced his music making.
