Former headteacher Brian McAlinden told MSPs that school teachers should get five year fixed term contracts as an "incentive" to ensure they were not resting on their laurels.

A study by Young Epilepsy UK to mark National Epilepsy Week shows that young people can be socially excluded because of a lack of knowledge about the condition.
