The Fife Diet was set up 5 years ago to encourage people to eat more local food. Participants were asked to try and eat food from the region for a year. Since then The Fife Diet has grown and developed so what impact has it had locally and beyond? Just how easy is it to follow the philosophy and could the ideas be adopted elsewhere? With Mike Small and Christopher Trotter.

The Collesie Bakery in Fife is run from the local village hall by a group of volunteers who are passionate about baking bread. Bronwyn Livingstone visited the bakery to find out how this community food project works and what their plans are for the future.

When Bob Phaff moved to St Andrews he discovered there were no locally produced beers so he took it upon himself to create one! Two and a half years later he has his own micro brewery and has created a number of craft beers including the Crail Ale, produced especially for this year's Crail Food Festival.

Top Chef Neil Forbes shows us how to make pan-fried mackerel with potato salad.
