Sixty years ago in July 1953, a young Gloria Hunniford came face to face with the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth II along a small country road outside Lisburn. In The Queen and Me, Gloria sets out to discover just why the Queen was here, where she went and who she met. Interweaving the memories of those who were there with remarkable vintage film, a story unfolds of a magical and intimate Royal visit to Northern Ireland unlike any other.
