Hazel Irvine introduces highlights of the opening day's action on the Castle Stuart course near Inverness.
Recent world number one Luke Donald is defending the title he won last year when heavy rain and landslides reduced the tournament to 54 holes. Three-time Major champion Padraig Harrington and 2010 Open champion Louis Oosthuizen are also among the world-class field.
