We speak to a man who sat on the Columbine Review Commission, which tried to learn lessons from the school shootings in 1999, about recent events in Aurora, just 20 miles away.

We speak with Professor William Pizzi from the Columbine Review Commission, about his take on this week's killings in Aurora, just 20 miles from Columbine. In the Columbine High School massacre in 1999 two students killed 12 fellow pupils and a teacher.

It's a year to the day since Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people in gun and bomb attacks in Norway. We ask Hanne Skartveit, political editor at the popular Norwegian tabloid paper V.G, what it was like being in the Oslo building that he blew up and how Norwegians will be remembering what happened.

We get the latest in Syria from Michael Peel, a journalist for the Financial Times, who's in Damascus.

And we finish the show with a preview of Bradley Wiggins winning the Tour De France (hoping we've not cursed him) with the Telegraph's cycling correspondent Brendan Gallagher.
