Ach chan eil an seo ach an treas chuid de shluagh na dùthcha, agus leis an sin tha clà radh a dhìth air iomadh neach eile.
'S e an dubhag am ball-bodhaig as cumanta a th' air a thabhainn. Ann an Trusadh : An Tiodhlac coinnichidh sinn ri cuid a tha beò leis an iomadh duilgheadais a tha an cois fà illigeadh dubhaig, agus dialysis a tha a' toirt ùine mhòr agus a tha uaireannan crà iteach, 's iad a' feitheamh air ath-chur dubhaig ùir. Coinnichidh sinn cuideachd ri cuid a th' air spionnadh as ùr fhaighinn nam beatha as dèidh dhaibh aon de na 'tiodhlacan as fheà rr' a b' urrainn fhaighinn.
A record 18 million people are now registered on the organ donor register in the UK, a figure that's more than doubled over the last 10 years. This though is still though only a third of the population, and many more people are needed to register.
The most common organ donated is the kidney. In Trusadh: The Gift we meet some of those living with the harsh reality of kidney failure and time-consuming, and at times painful dialysis, as they patiently await a transplant. We also meet those whose lives have been transformed, who have been given a new lease of life, following one of the 'greatest gifts' you can ever get.
