Holy Mountain

Holy Mountain are in session for Marc, a trio citing the influences of KISS, Motorhead and Rush.

In session tonight, Holy Mountain, who will be heavy "rifferamaring" in the studio.... so i'm told!

Holy Mountain started out as a two-piece, with Andy McGlone on guitar and Pete Flett on drums. Their ranks were bolstered by bassist Allan Stewart, prior to new album Earth Measures which was recorded in a staggering 17 hours.

As you would expect from a trio citing the influences of KISS, Motorhead, Rush and Iron Monkey, you've not really experienced Holy Mountain until you've seen them live.

Holy Mountain's self-appointed "Gig of All Time" took place last year over two venues and a van ride across the city. Having finished one set in a Glasgow venue, the band continued playing as they loaded into a van (with an amp powered by the cigarette lighter) which they crammed with 13 fans. They continued playing as they drove across the city, unloaded, and set up, before completing their second set as the closer for a degree show after party.

These are wild boys and we can't wait to meet them ...
