Prelude by Jorge Barbosa takes us back to life on Cape Verde before its discovery by the Portuguese in the 15th century. The poem was translated by Ana-Maria Maguire and Robyn Marsack and is read by Jill Delgado whose husband was a Welsh-Cape Verdean.
