As the Olympics end in London and the flag makes its way to Brazil - Up All Night gets reaction from around the world to the closing ceremony - as well as the Games themselves. We speak to an American who attended the closing ceremony, guage the view from Australia and we're live in the next host city Rio to hear conflicting opinions on just how interested the Brazilians are in 2016.
Our correspondent in Turkey speaks to us about the abduction of a Turkish MP by Kurdish separatists- the first time the PKK has targeted an elected deputy.
And Nezar Alsayyad from the University of California shares his views on the decision by the Egyptian president, Mohammad Morsi, to sack the defence minister, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi. He tells us it signifies the first real take over by the Muslim Brotherhood of the reins of power in Egypt.
