Sir David Frost talks to the Oscar-winning actress and Broadway star Shirley MacLaine.

Shirley gives a frank account of her early days; the moment when her big break came as a stand-in for actress Carol Haney; and the huge success of films such as Sweet Charity and Irma La Douce.

She also remembers meeting the great film director Alfred Hitchcock for the first time, with hilarious clarity, remarking that he looked "like a ball"; and her crush on "Rat Pack" stalwart Dean Martin.
