Mark Thomas

Mark Thomas talks to Shaun about his award-winning show Bravo Figaro! Expect lots of laughs, a few DIY SOS tears, and a kicking playlist.

Shaun takes a rib-tickling satirical romp through the morning's news, as the nation share their 'Earworm' tracks (the ones that have wriggled in at night only to wake you up on a loop first thing), and news-horse Matt Everitt delivers up-to-the-minute music news. All this is wrapped up in a huge snuggly duvet of kicking alternative tunes, both old and new, and a breakfast show devotee admires something wonderful in the world with a 'Song Of Praise'.

Comedian Mark Thomas is added to the heady mix this morning as he talks to Shaun about his award-winning Edinburgh show 'Bravo Figaro!' which travels to the Tricycle Theatre in London for a two week run before touring the UK in October. Mark says "Bravo Figaro! is about my dad, me, love, death and opera". Expect a few DIY SOS type tears alongside the laughs this morning!
