More than 300 Turkish military officers convicted in a plot to destablise the government, at least 19 people killed in rioting in Pakistan and the last ever Space Shuttle flight.
A day of violent protests across major cities in Pakistan has left at least nineteen people dead. We discuss the causes with Dr Zia Mian, who directs the "Project on Peace and Security in South Asia" at Princeton University.
Meanwhile in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi a protest against heavily armed militias turns violent, and at least four people are killed.
More than three-hundred military officers in Turkey have been given prison sentences for plotting to overthrow the government in 2003. 3 former senior commanders were each sentenced to 20 years in jail.
US Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney's earned almost 14 million dollars in 2011, and paid just over 14% of that in tax.
A Space Shuttle is airborne for the last ever time. We speak with Dr Laura Danly, the Curator of Los Angeles' Griffith Observatory, who witnessed "Endeavor"'s historic flypast...while piggy-backing on a modified Boeing 747..... from there.
