Scotland just bleeds stories, and at Past Lives we have a theory that you can throw a dart anywhere in a map of of the country and find history. From time to time we get a listener to test that theory and this time Stuart Gibbs threw the dart for us - severing the River Spey and the Strathspey railway. Result! So this week we head to Strathspey where Mark goes on the footplate of the locomotive E V Cooper Engineer. Historian Fiona Watson takes us in search of Scotland's most unwanted tourist - Edward I.
