Episode 3
A chronicle of a Welsh summer. Thousands of US tourists disembark at Holyhead harbour, undeterred by the record wet summer. Lady Linlithgow battles to preserve her ancestral seat.
As Wales endures its wettest summer since records began, the grey skies and heavy rain fail to deter our overseas visitors.
The largest cruise liner to visit our shores docks in Anglesey's Holyhead harbour; on board, three-and-a-half thousand American
visitors all planning to 'do' North Wales in a day. To the East, on the border with England, we meet the 'hands-on' Lady Linlithgow, battling to preserve her ancestral seat. Far to the South, the Cleaner Cardiff Cleansing Team goes into deep clean mode, in preparation for an Olympic event-filled summer.
