Peace of Mind sheds light on what day-to-day life is like with an ongoing and chronic mental illness. Our contributors share their experiences of the prejudice they face in finding employment, talking about their conditions with friends and family and the daily challenges they face to maintain their mental wellbeing.
In this new series, the cameras follow 24-year-old Natalie McCulloch of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan - sectioned under the Mental Health Act - as she works hard to overcome severe anorexia and regain normal weight and eating habits. Forty-two-year-old Maddy Read has experienced severe depression throughout her adult life which has limited her abilities to find a meaningful job, while 21-year-old Kelly Boylin from Flintshire is rebuilding her life after the shattering news of her sister's suicide three years ago.
