Episode 27
The finalists' patisserie skills are put to the test as they replicate one of celebrated pastry chef Claire Clark's most challenging cakes, before creating a dessert of their own.
The final week continues with the remaining three celebrities having to master the hardest culinary skill of all - patisserie.
Their first task is not for the faint-hearted, as they take on a pastry challenge under the watchful eye of Claire Clark, the world-renowned pastry chef who was awarded the MBE last year and has had a remarkable career so far, including five years at an incredible three Michelin-starred restaurant in California's Napa Valley. At MasterChef HQ, Claire gives the celebrities a master class in the art of making one of her most challenging creations, a two-tiered chocolate celebration cake. Then, they have four and a half hours to replicate Claire's hugely labourious and impressive cake. Requiring the celebrities to turn on their skill, precision and artistic flair like never before, will the enormity of the task be too much?
Next, the final three must create one show-stopping dessert to impress John and Gregg. It is time to pull out all the stops as at the end of the week only one of these exceptional cooks can be crowned the next Celebrity MasterChef champion.
