Megan Stammers, the teenager who travelled to France with her maths teacher Jeremy Forrest, is expected to return to the UK today and Ryder Cup day two as USA lead Europe 5-3.

* Megan Stammers, the teenager who travelled to France with her maths teacher Jeremy Forrest, is expected to return to the UK today, after being found yesterday in the French city of Bordeaux. Jeremy Forrest is being held by French police on suspicion of child abduction.

* The USA are on top after day one of the Ryder Cup, leading Europe 5-3. It was 2-2 after the opening foursomes, but the US took control in the fourballs. Nicolas Colsaerts was the hero for Europe, helping them win a crucial point at the end.

* As many as 30,000 marchers are expected to take to the streets of Belfast later to mark the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Ulster Covenant. It's one of the most significant dates in unionist history which eventually resulted in the partition of Ireland.
