Sussex sirens Smoke Fairies serenading Salford session!

Katherine Blamire and Jessica Davies met in the school choir in the late 90s and after picking up their parents guitars and plundering their record collections they created the Smoke Fairies.

Along the way they have spent a year in New Orleans, another year in Vancover, recorded and been produced by Jack White, championed by Richard Hawley and released a much loved debut Throw Low Light and Trees on V2.

The duo followed up their debut with Blood Speaks (V2) back in May, and have been busy playing live across the globe before they step back in to the studio with Marc this fine evening.
