Asians in adverts
Nihal asks whether you would be more likely to buy a product advertised by an Asian. Plus dating guru Dharam Raval answers relationship-related questions.
Join the debate with Nihal at 1, he's asking, Would you be more likely to buy products advertised by an Asian? The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising say that some companies think a lot of ethnic minorities don't spend much and are too hard to target. But the reality would appear to be much different - the report says Asians are often more likely to buy luxury goods and that the average British Indian man is now on a higher income than his white counterpart. And it says that only one in twenty adverts feature members of an ethnic minority. But is it patronising to suggest that Asians would be more likely to buy products that are advertised by people from their own community?
After 2, our dating guru Dharam Raval answers your relationship related questions.
