Tales of Iraq
Hard-hitting investigations. A report on how the ongoing and bloody conflict in Iraq has affected the lives of hundreds of people in Northern Ireland.
Last month was the bloodiest yet for Britain since the war in Iraq officially ended. Eleven Britons were killed, and away from the gaze of the international media, hundreds of ordinary Iraqis lost their lives. The fear now is that what was hailed as an opportunity to bring stability and democracy to a shattered country is fast descending into a sectarian civil war. It may seem a world away, but the lives of hundreds of people from Northern Ireland are touched by what happens there. Spotlight talks to some of them in 'Tales of Iraq'. We hear at first hand from some of them.
