A year in the life of a rising star of the comedy circuit, following Carmarthen comedian Elis James on the road across the UK, from small comedy clubs to the Hammersmith Apollo. As Elis struggles to develop a brand new show for 2012's Edinburgh festival, he'll get to work with some of the biggest names in comedy from Steven Merchant to Rhod Gilbert, write his own radio shows, and launch a side project on an unsuspecting Edinburgh.
