Michael Palin

Jon is joined by comedian, actor, writer, presenter and British treasure Michael Palin, who talks about his new book and TV series Brazil, a country he had never before visited.

Jon welcomes comedian, actor, writer, presenter and British treasure, Michael Palin CBE to talk about his new book & accompanying 4-part 大象传媒 series, Brazil. Michael Palin has travelled the world for the past 25 years, earning him a reputation as the man who has been everywhere. But there's one big gap in his passport: Brazil. The fifth largest country on earth with an abundance of resources and a melting pot of peoples, it's a nation that's risen almost out of nowhere to become a 21st century superpower and is next in line to host both the World Cup and Olympic Games. Along with all Michael's travelling adventures he will also have the challenge of Jon's nonsense quiz, Ken Bruce Master. Jamie Cullum will also return with his jazz reviews and listen up for the topical news story theming Saturday's music and pun based text in!
