Episode 6
Jools is joined by The Killers, who perform songs from their album Battle Born, plus Polica, Cody ChesnuTT, Kristina Train, Adam Ant, Valerie June and Jackie DeShannon.
Joining Jools on the sixth show of the series are Las Vegas' own The Killers, making a welcome return with songs from their recent album, the chart-topping Battle Born. Minneapolis indie/R&B quintet Polica make their UK TV debut with numbers from their acclaimed Give You The Ghost debut.
Atlanta's soul troubadour and cohort of The Roots, Cody ChesnuTT, is also in the room with a tune or two from his Landing On A Hundred long player, and New York-born and Savannah, Georgia-raised singer Kristina Train performs songs from her album Dark Train. Chatting to Jools is a true pop icon in the shape of Adam Ant.
Also added to the line-up are Tennessee's Valerie June, performing what she calls her 'organic moonshine roots music', and US singer songwriter Jackie DeShannon, who supported The Beatles on their first US tour and subsequently co-wrote hits such as Put A Little Love In Your Heart, Break-A-Way and Bette Davis Eyes.
