Professor Brian Cox joins Shaun for his weekly science chat and Matt Everitt delivers the music news, plus Peter Serafinowicz drops in.

Wednesday sees Professor Brian Cox on the show for his weekly science chat.

Brian is a TV presenter, professor, particle physicist and Royal Society University Research Fellow who is currently working at CERN. He's also in charge of single-handedly making science cool.

Shaun, on the other hand, is in charge of pure silliness and a soundtrack of superb tracks, both old and new, to help you kick out the jams!

Add to this Peter Serafinowicz chats about his new book A Billion Jokes! (Volume One). Pete has been described as 'the beer drinker's Bill Bryson' and this book takes our engaging social historian from Chaucer's pilgrims, through the bear pits and players of The Globe and surrounding theatres who would have played the galleried courtyard of the pub on the back of drays, the glory days of the coaching inn and the accompanying expansion of news, business and highwaymen to Dickens, American tourists and current frenzied building work in modern day Southwark.
