In this programme, it's Ralph Greig's first day of training. He's being put through a tough test on the simulator ahead of stepping up to being a harbour pilot.
Ex-sailor Ellen Haughland has her heart set on stepping into Ralph's shoes as a VTS controller. Can she become Aberdeen first ever woman in that role?
Out at sea, the crew on the Bibby Sapphire are bracing themselves for "Mother Nature at her worst" as a force ten storm heads directly towards them.
Meanwhile, in the Crown & Anchor, barmaid Val Morrison could never have expected to be serving a troop of Morris dancers...
